Accessories for APX portable radios

To complement the APX 7500 mobile two-way radio, Motorola Original® accessories are specifically designed for mission critical communications. Agencies can re-use many accessories from Motorola XTL radios that utilize the O5 and O3 control heads – maximizing investments while maintaining the latest technology. Plus, Motorola offers the new IMPRES™ Smart Audio System, which provides enhanced communication between the radio and the accessory, optimizing the audio performance and assuring the highest quality communication.

Audio Accessories

HMN1089 - Water-Resistant Standard Palm Microphone (APX™ and XTL™)
Provides basic push-to-talk functionality and is a neutral color for easy visibility on a vehicle dashboard. Provides water-resistance for harsh public safety environments. Attaches via the front connector of the mobile control head.

HMN1090 - Standard Palm Microphone (APX™ and XTL™)
Provides basic push-to-talk functionality and is a neutral color for easy visibility on a vehicle dashboard. Attaches via the front connector of the mobile control head.

HMN4079 - Keypad Microphone (APX™ and XTL™)
Provides push-to-talk functionality and allows users to access other critical features directly from the microphone. A full keypad allows users to dial phone numbers and send text messages, while the navigational buttons allow users to navigate through radio menus. Also includes 3 programmable buttons for additional customization. Attaches via the front connector of the mobile control head.

HMN4097 - IMPRES Telephone Style Handset (APX™)
Provides a flexible, discreet solution in all mobile applications. These handsets utilize state-of-the-art IMPRES technology, which provides optimal audio performance and consistent output.

HMN4098 - IMPRES™ Telephone Style Handset with Keypad
Provides a flexible, discreet solution in all mobile applications. These handsets utilize state-of-the-art IMPRES technology, which provides optimal audio performance and consistent output. A full keypad allows users to dial phone numbers and send text messages, while the navigational buttons allow users to access key radio functions.

RMN5054 - IMPRES Visor Microphone
Utilizes state-of-the-art IMPRES technology. Automatic gain control provides improved audio and consistent output. Small microphone mounts to vehicle's visor for convenient hands-free radio operation and safety while in a vehicle. Use with a external push-button push-to-talk or foot switch push-to-talk option

RMN5070 - Desktop Microphone (APX™)
Allows mission critical users to conveniently convert APX mobiles into simple base stations offering an ideal solution for dispatch and transportation users.
